Colombia Huila Supremo
The Huila Department in southern Colombia is home to the country’s highest volcano, Nevado del Huila, rising to just under 18,000 feet. The volcano erupted several times between 2007-2008, prompting the evacuation of tens of thousands of Colombians.
Rich volcanic soil and climate variation — the result of Huila’s position between the Andes — are an ecological recipe for remarkable coffee crops. Huila has received Denomination of Origin status, which is the same status awarded to champagne.
Juicy grape and maple sweetness, with a bakery aroma and balanced body.
